We're in search of an SRE Engineer to become part of our team, dedicated to maintaining the stability and scalability of our platform. We operate with a sense of ownership and responsibility, and we're seeking an Engineer who aligns with this mindset. Our engineering team embraces a robust DevOps culture, where you will be involved in working on internally and externally facing services, improving perfecting operations and ultimately scale the system for the next Bull Run.

Carrying mission-critical responsibilities, we are committed to proactively identifying and addressing issues around security, scalability, responsiveness and runtime through careful planning and preventive measures.

Closely collaborating with development, product and marketing teams you will be closely involved in all aspects of the company's life aimed at providing the best service to our community members.

Our stack

Main stack: AWS, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, KafkaConfiguration: Terraform, Ansible

Observability: Opensearch, Prometheus, Grafana, Open-telemetry

CI/CD stack: GitOps, Gitlab, ArgoCD

Networking: Certificate management, DNS

You will

  • Design, maintain and optimize public-facing infrastructure stack
  • Design, maintain and optimize internal facing infrastructure stack
  • Manage projects regarding cloud computing, Kubernetes and databases
  • Continuously improve frontend, backend and even mobile team CI/CD pipelines
  • Continuously improve our monitoring and observability stack
  • Take part in capacity planning and performance optimization projects
  • Automate tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
  • Respond to incidents and outages in a timely and effective manner
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and Git
  • Troubleshoot complex technical problems and identify root causes
  • Collaborate with other engineers to design and implement new solutions
  • Be part of the on-call rotationDocument procedures and processes
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends

We're looking for:

  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale, distributed systems
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, including AWS, Kubernetes, and TerraformExperience in observability and monitoring of applications, services, and networks, using tools such as Prometheus/Grafana and ELK logging
  • Strong proficiency in infrastructure-as-code, GitOps, CI/CD
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and identify root causes
  • A knack for breaking down complex problems into manageable steps
  • High level of autonomy, discipline, and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a cross-cultural team
  • Ability to express your ideas clearly and defend them if need be
  • A keen interest in Crypto/Web3
