Job Title: SRE/DevOps Build Release Engineer
 Offshore India - Pune
 Full time
 
Must have : Bitbucket to Gitlab/Git hub migration/Repository import/Code transfer/repository migration and Solid migration experience for migrating the code repo
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 Design, implement, and maintain scalable build and release pipelines (CI/CD). Automate build, test, and deployment processes to improve speed and reliability.
 Manage and optimize build tools and frameworks (e.g., Maven, Gradle, Bazel, CMake).
 Define and enforce version control strategies (branching, merging, tagging).
 Troubleshoot and resolve build failures, dependency issues, and environment mismatches.
 Drive improvements in build performance and developer productivity.
 Partner with development, QA, and operations to ensure seamless code delivery.
 Mentor junior engineers and help establish best practices across the team.
 Evaluate, recommend, and implement new tools and technologies to improve the build and release ecosystem.
 
 Required Qualifications
 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
 6+ years of experience in build engineering, DevOps, or software release management.
 Strong expertise in CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, Bamboo, etc.).
 Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Groovy, PowerShell).
 Solid understanding of build tools (Maven, Gradle, Make, CMake, Bazel).
 Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
 Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
 Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and debugging tools for build/release systems.
 
 Preferred Skills
 Experience improving large-scale build and test infrastructure.
 Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
 Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in distributed systems.
 Excellent communication and leadership skills.
