Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in Java development, with a focus on developing integrated systems.
Strong understanding of eligibility determination processes and government programs (e.g., Medicaid, SNAP).
Knowledge of database systems (SQL or NoSQL) and data integration techniques.
Proficiency in software development tools, version control, and issue tracking systems.
Familiarity with web services, APIs, and integration protocols.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Duties

Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications that integrate with eligibility determination systems. Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of the software.
Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand eligibility requirements, translating them into technical specifications and code.
Integration: Work on integrating the eligibility system with various data sources, third-party systems, and databases, ensuring seamless data flow and accuracy.
Testing: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to validate the functionality and accuracy of the software.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software design, code, and development processes.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and system errors, ensuring the eligibility system operates smoothly.
Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize the software for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
Security: Implement security best practices to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, quality assurance testers, and system administrators, to deliver integrated eligibility solutions.
