Overview:

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Site Reliability Engineer or SRE experienced with leading software development projects. The candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is a self-starter, and a creative problem solver. The SRE will be familiar with Agile development processes, have strong process proficiency, skill, and is willing to roll up their sleeves to dig in on any project or problem. The candidate will have relentlessly high standards for themselves and everyone they work with, and will be constantly looking for ways to improve reliable, scalable, and performant solutions while relentlessly removing toil from our environment.

Visa Status: USC, GC, H4 EAD
Long term contract: 1099 – US Based candidates / No C2C or C2H

5+ years as SRE or DevOps Engineer

5+ years Scrum Agile methodology
Demonstrated ability to deliver solutions that are easily maintainable, understandable, and diagnosable
Able to write clear and consumable documentation
Track record of building and running high-performance teams
Extensive experience leading customer facing systems in a high uptime 24/7 environment
Expertise analyzing complex application, database, network, and OS issues across a distributed large scale customer facing system
System configuration management experience with automation tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or Salt
Advanced experience with programming and/or scripting languages (Python, Java, bash)
Experience with DevOps tools, processes, and culture
High-level technical understanding (development methodologies, phases, etc)
Proven track record in working collaboratively across functional areas to get results
Interact effectively with representatives from Technology and Business Partners
