You can expect to support engineering teams to plan for upcoming deliveries, ensuring that all work is thoroughly tested in all scenarios. You will also develop automated test frameworks and tools to enable the engineers to deliver quality rapidly. As a senior software engineer in test, you will:

* Drive the development, maintenance, and evolution of the testing strategy and automation roadmap, including alignment with company-wide initiatives around AI, compliance, and performance.
* Design and maintain test pipelines and reporting mechanisms to ensure consistent quality validation across environments (Dev, Stage, Prod).
* Partner with product, engineering, and compliance stakeholders to assess release readiness and provide QA signoff.
* Define performance benchmarks and own execution plans for validating key workflows (e.g., submission generation, validation engine performance).
* Design, plan, and execute test plans and test cases for our leading-edge web products.
* Guide and mentor engineers in testing engineering deliverables.
* Spot check engineering testing to ensure automated tests are in place and are of a high quality.
* Create automated test frameworks, using the latest testing tools.
* Be the testing advocate and quality advocate in an agile product team.
* Mentor and support junior SDETs.

**Who You Are - some of the essential things required to be successful in the role:**
* At least 9 years’ experience in software testing activities including test planning, execution, monitoring, defect tracking, and test reporting.
* At least 3 years’ experience in Azure cloud services and components.
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally.
* Experience in test design and documentation.
* Experience in Cypress and API test tools (i.e. Bruno, Postman etc.).
* Experience with source control systems (i.e. Git, Gitflow, etc.).
* Experience with Agentic AI (Claude, GPT, etc.).
* Experience with popular unit testing and mocking frameworks.

**Who You Are – it’s desirable if you have any of the following:**
* Exposure to SQL and relational database concepts.
* Exposure to Cloud Platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP).
* Experience of Microservice architectures.
* Experience with non-functional testing tools and techniques (e.g. performance, security, accessibility).
* Experience of Generative AI with Spec Driven Development.
* Familiar with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment practices.
* Ability to work effectively, both individually and as a member of a project or Agile team.
* Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
