Overview:
Role Description: The Business Analyst will serve as the bridge between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the Integrated Eligibility System (IES) meets programmatic and functional requirements. This role focuses on gathering, analyzing, and translating business needs into actionable technical solutions while ensuring compliance with federal and state policies. Responsibilities: Gather, document, and analyze business requirements for IES implementation and updates. Collaborate with stakeholders, eligibility specialists, and developers to translate policy rules into system requirements. Develop workflow diagrams, user stories, and functional specifications. Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure system changes meet business needs. Provide ongoing support for system enhancements and modifications. Facilitate communication between non-technical stakeholders and the technical team. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field. 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in public sector projects or eligibility systems. Familiarity with IES platforms, public assistance programs, and policy regulations. Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or other requirement management software. Soft Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills. Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Technical Skills: Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business analysis tools. Basic understanding of database concepts and system workflows.
