About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Automation Lead with strong expertise in .NET and Playwright to drive our test automation strategy and ensure the delivery of high-quality software. 
This role requires a hands-on leader who can design and implement robust test frameworks, lead automation initiatives, and mentor the QA automation team while collaborating closely with developers and product stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automation frameworks using .NET and Playwright.
Define and implement automation strategies and best practices across multiple projects.
Build, execute, and optimize end-to-end automated test suites for web, API, and integration testing.
Work closely with development teams to ensure automation is integrated into the CI/CD pipeline.
Review and improve test coverage, reliability, and performance of automated tests.
Mentor and guide a team of automation engineers, ensuring coding standards and practices are followed.
Collaborate with product owners, QA, and developers to drive shift-left testing and improve overall product quality.
Analyze automation test results, debug failures, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of overall experience in QA/Automation, with at least 2+ years in a lead role.
Strong hands-on experience with .NET (C#) for test automation framework development.
Proven expertise in Playwright for end-to-end automation.
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
Experience with API automation (REST, GraphQL) and integration testing.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, performance).
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Exposure to containerized test execution using Docker/Kubernetes.
Knowledge of other automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, SpecFlow, NUnit, xUnit).
Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6, etc.).
