The largest not-for-profit healthcare system in the state of Texas is looking for an engineer that has Microsoft strength with C# .net, then API focus preferably with RESTful APIs.

- Know Azure cloud-based dev ops best practices and understands the concepts of building then modifying APIs so they can be reused for different purposes when possible.

Requirements

Must haves

- 7 or more years of experience with API Development
- 7 or more years of experience with databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
- .NET experience 
- Experience with application development in at least one of the programming tools/languages (e.g., C# or VB.NET, VB scripting, Python)
- Experience with Azure DevOps (dev.azure.com or some other enterprise source control / CI-CD process)Experience with Azure cloud platform
- Ability to architect, develop, and implement APIs and web applications with minimal guidance using Agile methodologies.
- Perform quality review of the APIs developed and as needed provide feedback to junior team members
- Ability to set up and manage the deployment and maintenance of the team’s Azure resources (Web Application Services, Function Apps, Cosmos DB, etc...)
- Proven skill in implementing APIs that are consumed by web applications and mobile native applications.

Nice to have

- Experience architecting, developing, and deploying back-end databases
- Experience in integrating third-party systems with disparate single sign-on systems
- Experience with Azure DevOps (dev.azure.com or some other enterprise source control / CI-CD process)Experience with Azure cloud platform
- Experience with the creation or support/maintenance of Azure PAS (Platform as a Service) environments
- Exposure to Data Analytics, Cognitive / AI, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP),  Computer vision healthcare, or EHR knowledge is a plus.

- Work closely with business owners and stakeholders and participate in our Clients Agile process.
